Job Title        Test Engineer on Contract

Description/Profile     -> Work with product managers, development managers and developer to -> engineer quality early in product development cycle. -> Write and execute QA Test plans, test cases and test automation -> scripts, and deliver highest quality software. Perform manual QA tests when needed. -> Design and develop automation for software QA tests including -> functional and load tests across wide range of technologies and products. -> Write or customize test harnesses with open source or commercial -> automation tools; design and customize automation framework to suit the needs of a product and technology. -> Foster and develop good relationship with product teams. Analyze, innovate, architect, design and develop software programs for testing frameworks, technology components and end user applications; Code and debug complex issues when required. -> Co-ordinate work with local and remote teams when required

Other Info     -> Duration of the contract- 6 weeks -> Engineering or MCA graduate; 2+ years of prior QA and testing -> experience Excellent problem solver, creative thinker, quick learner -> and extremely self-motivated. -> Analytical and detail oriented. Able to prioritize, execute and -> deliver projects on time; -> Process oriented and passion for doing it right with uncompromising quality of work -> Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Programming skills: Java, JSF, Javascript, AJAX, Flex, AIR, XML, SQL, Spring Framework and Web Services. Experience in Junit, HttpUnit, etc., is a plus. -> Experience in designing and developing test strategies and harnesses -> for enterprise class high performance, high availability software systems. -> Strong in test automation including commercial or open source test automation tools and frameworks; hands-on experience in open source test automation frameworks is a plus. -> Strong skills in XML schema design, XML parsing and processing, XPATH -> and XSLT is a plus -> Skilled in scripting languages such as Javascript, ActionScript, Perl -> and Linux/Unix Shell. -> Experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) is a plus
