We have an opening for QA position.The JD is as follows:-
1 Junior QA
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Be key part of team building a compelling web-based application using ruby on rails, javascript, etc.
· Work with our team to test features and prototypes for a high availability system
· Perform integration & acceptance tests
· Cooperate in establishing testing strategy and quality standards.
· Create, maintain, write and execute test plans and test cases.
· Developing and maintaining test scripts within a test framework.
· Generate test execution reports to management, product and development teams.
· Participating in bug review processes to identify deficiencies and improvements in the test cases
· Participating in design and specification reviews.
· Ensure comprehensive test coverage by finding bugs, defects and verifying fixes.
· Testing web applications in various browsers
REQUIREMENTS
· Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
· Passionate about quality assurance and testing the "right" way.
· 2+ years hands on experience with QA
· Experience with the web platform.
· Strong understanding of multiple release environments
· Knowledgeable about major Internet browsers (IE, Firefox, Safari)
· Solid written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong analytical skill and sense for usability, design, and development best practices
NICE TO HAVE
· Experience with automated regression testing systems.
· Programming Experience
· Experience with load testing tools.
