Requirements

• 10 years+ experience in enterprise/middleware development/architecture
• Extensive hands-on experience in architecting and implementing distributed, scalable and highly available systems
• Strong preference for candidates with experience in crunching huge volumes of data ( 1B rows per day) using large-scale data processing technologies such as Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Cassandra or other distributed file systems, distributed consensus protocols, distributed query processing systems)
• Strong experience in Java/ J2EE development, Hibernate/SQL/No-SQL and threading
• Strong experience in JUnit tests and test driven development
• Self driven, creative and passionate about creating the best and most stable software
• Experience in any of the following is advantageous: SMS, MMS, EJB3, SOAP, HornetQ JMS, Oracle 10g, Hadoop/Hive/Pig Latin/HBase
• Experience in most of the following technologies: Struts, AJAX, JSP, JBOSS, REST/SOAP APIs, Solaris 10
