Pref­ere­bly worked at dif­fer­ent phases of the soft­ware devel­op­ment life cycle (SDLC) that includes unit test­ing, inte­gra­tion test­ing, func­tional test­ing, sys­tem test­ing, accep­tance test­ing (often per­formed by the inter­nal or exter­nal client) and regres­sion test­ing (which is often automated).
