Role:
Analyzing the business requirements and prepare the technical design Interacting with client to get clarification on the initial requirement provided based on the business/ system knowledge and come up with a final design Carry out and review important technical documents, designs, codes, Test Plan etc
Assisting PM / TL with technical details / decisions Carry our basic project management activities like allocation of work, tracking, estimation, scheduling and other admin activities like performance goal setting and tracking etc
Mentoring team members in technical areas/decisions and help them in designing complex queries and reports
Drive and participate in database design and performance tuning activities
Coordination with Client POC on planning and issues
Advising on, and recommending solutions, based on experience and industry knowledge

Desired Profile :
Core application development experience on MAINFRAME platform, especially, COBOL, DB2, CICS, VSAM and JCL
Exposure to PM4Data, Telon, Intertest, DTCN and REXX is desired
Knowledge of SDLC methodologies and working on full life cycle development project in the past
Good Communication skills. Should be able to interact directly with client
Participated in design activities in the past
Knowledge in Retail domain is desired
Prior experience of leading a project team is preferred
