Job Location: - Bangalore
Experience Level: - 2 to 4 years

Job Description:
Experience: 3 + yrs

Qualification: Post Graduate/Graduate in engineering or Graduate in science with MCA

Profile: SQA Engineer

Skills:

Mandatory Technical Skills:

 Thorough understanding of software engineering processes, development and maintenance life cycles and methodologies
 Hands on experience in implementation of quality models/standards such as ISO9001/27000, CMM/CMMI etc
 Hands on experience in process analysis / audits / Metrics, process definition, process implementation, process mentoring, trainings & workshops for the entire software development life cycle process
 Hands on experience in performing the Software Quality Assurance function for at least 2-3 years
 Exposure to Software Testing for a period of 1-3 years preferable
 Should have good working knowledge in SQL
 Strong working knowledge in Microsoft Excel
 Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
 Excellent presentation & interpersonal skills.
 Agree to work evening shift of 7:00pm to 3:30am IST.
 Agrees to work overtime and weekends when necessary and available for on-call duty in support of production environment.

Optional Skills:

 Good exposure in evaluation, configuration, implementation, usage and trouble shooting of various processes in the area of
 Configuration Management (VSS)
 Change Management
 Project management
 Requirement Management
 Metrics Management / Reporting
 Should have experience in ETL/Reporting testing

Job Description:
Developer with C#, ASP.NET

, DNN/ Ektron, XML, XSLT, DNN and SQL Server 2000/2005

This position will provide programming analysis, application development (using ASP.Net, C#) and maintenance of various applications supported by Buck Consultants, part of ACS/Xerox Human Resource Service (HRS) line of business.

May perform one or more of the following:
• Design, develop, maintain and interface complex web based and desktop applications using ASP.Net, C#, XML and JavaScript for software enhancements and new products
• Design, develop, and maintain business and data tiers.
• Maintain existing web sites and applications enhancing functionality to meet business and security requirements.
• Extend database functionality using Oracle, SQL Server 2000/2005.
• Perform a full range of complex programming tasks using a variety of web and application based programming technologies and languages, keeping current with new programming techniques.
• Maintain code and application libraries, instructions, and technical documentation.
• Analyzes, programs, and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, or Internet-related computer programs.
• Using current programming languages and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications.
• All other duties as assigned.


Knowledge and Skill Required

• Strong and hands on exposure to ASP.Net & C# - at least 4 years
• Good object oriented design skills
• Exposure to DNN, Ektron CMS 400.NET

will be a plus
• Hands on experience with using XSLT & XML
• Hands on exposure with Web Services, SSO, SOAP etc.
• Exposure to Classic ASP (VBScript) and VB 6.0 is a plus
• Strong understanding of database design, SQL, stored procedures, and a thorough knowledge of integrating the database tier into a .NET project
• Practical experience and feel comfortable working with web-related technologies including HTML, Javascript, CSS, AJAX
• Knowledge of Ajax, TDD and NUnit and Agile Methodology will be a plus
• Strong and demonstrated interest in emerging technologies
• Knowledge of UML
• Team player with good communication skill
