Job Description

• Application Support, Develop, enhance and maintain systems for the Business and Service Divisions of Allianz UK.
• Work with colleagues in IT Department to ensure good communication and co-ordination between all related project teams
• Work effectively with business users/customers, analysing their needs, solving problems and agreeing and delivering solutions, which meet real business needs.
• Actively promote and maintain departmental standards and quality initiatives in all aspects of work.

Essential Skills

• 2 – 5 years IT work experience in Java (J2EE, Oracle, JBoss, SVN/CVS)
• Application support/Develop /maintenance experience in Java
• Exposure to Configuration management tools
• Exposure to Software development life cycle
• Exposure to Quality processes, Demonstrable experience in adhering to standards, Knowledge of CMMI

Desirable Skills

• Guidewire or Filenet
• Work experience in Unix, Maven, Junkins will be added advantage.
