Job Title: Specialists – Performance Tester
Manager’s Job Title : Lead Performance Testing
Position Summary
This position will play an integral role in the ongoing development of various IT products for
Arbitron. This position will be primarily responsible for performing throughput, latency, and capacity
measurements and reliability tests of Arbitron applications.
This position for India Development Center and reports to Performance Test Lead –IT Products,
Arbitron India.
Roles and Responsibilities: This role is for a senior performance tester, primarily involve working
directly with the applications, scripting / programming, performing data analysis, managing the
performance lab, and producing reports.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
Ability to develop and execute performance test scripts. Analyze the test execution reports
and report them.
Analyze the performance test execution reports, spot performance bottle necks, suggest
changes to help improve
Must have used Load Runner in his/her previous projects.
Knowledge of JMeter and / or SoapUI for will be an added advantage.
Experience of being worked in at least 2-3 performance testing projects
Candidate must have good team work ability, as well as good written and verbal
communication skills
The position demands a high level of responsibility and commitment.

Education/Training/Experience
3 - 5 years of overall experience (at least 1-2 years in Software Performance Testing)
Graduate / Post Graduate in Computer Science / Engineering [ B. Tech, M Tech] or
equivalent.
Other Information
Willingness to mentor junior resources and other team members
Ability to operate effectively, and with a sense of possibility, in a fast-paced, deadline-
driven environment.
Must be passionate about product development.
