Position Summary
The incumbent would be responsible for designing, developing and unit testing software
code.
Roles and Responsibilities:
 Participate in requirements discussions and document understanding of requirements
 Understand and translate business requirements into object-oriented design
 Develop optimized software code based on requirements and design specifications
 Perform unit testing and debugging/fixing of defects reported in system/acceptance testing
 Contribute to knowledge building and sharing within the team on business and technical
domains
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
 Ability to convert business requirements into object-oriented design and code using
Java/J2EE technologies.
 Proficiency in programming and debugging/unit testing (Junit) of web applications
 Good knowledge of Oracle RDBMS, SQL and PL/SQL
 Experience in Hibernate, Spring, Java Web Services is a plus
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 Good Team Player

Education/Training/Experience
 3-5 years of overall experience (at least 3 years in Java/J2EE based application
development)
 Graduate / Post Graduate in Computer Science / Engineering [ B. Tech/ B E, M Tech /
MCA] from top 30 engineering institutes in India.
