Position Summary
The incumbent would be responsible for architecting and designing applications. The position also
demands planning development activities and monitoring the execution.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Plan and execute tasks with a team of developers, using best practices and organizational
processes.
Participate in requirements discussions and create high level technical architecture and
design.
Review work-products from team members with focus on optimization and ensure quality.
Support management in project planning and status reporting.
Contribute to knowledge building and sharing in the team on business/technical domains.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
Ability to lead a group of developers and plan development activities.
Expertise in Java/J2EE design methodologies and frameworks, architecting web applications
and performance tuning.
Experience in Hibernate, Spring, Java Web Services is a plus.
Good knowledge of Oracle RDBMS, SQL and PL/SQL.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Good Team Player.
Education/Training/Experience
6- 9 years of overall experience (at least 5 years in Java/J2EE based application
development)
Graduate / Post Graduate in Computer Science / Engineering [B. Tech / B.E, M Tech, MCA]
